I’ve spent more than 40 years playing this game, and one thing I’ve learned is that golf is about a lot more than the number you write on the scorecard.
It’s the early mornings.
It’s the walk down the fairway.
It’s the people you meet along the way, the courses you never forget, the great shots you talk about for years, and the bad ones you somehow remember just as clearly.
Golf has always been a game built on tradition, history, patience, and respect. That’s a big part of what drew me to it in the first place, and it’s a big part of why I started Caddie Row Golf Co.
Why Caddie’s Corner?
Caddie’s Corner is where I want to talk about the parts of golf that go beyond apparel.
This is where I’ll share thoughts about the traditions of the game, the role caddies have played throughout golf’s history, what I’ve learned from more than four decades of playing, and what it’s like trying to build a golf brand from the ground up.
Some posts may be about the history of the game.
Some may be about products and the ideas behind them.
Some may be about things I love about golf, things I miss about golf, or things I hope never disappear from the game.
And every now and then, there may be an opinion or two.
More Than a Brand
Caddie Row started because I wanted to build something that felt connected to the game itself.
Not just another logo on a shirt.
The name, the caddie, the idea behind Walk the Row — all of it comes from an appreciation for where golf has been and the traditions that have helped make the game what it is today.
I’m building this company on a shoestring budget, one product, one idea, and one customer at a time.
Caddie’s Corner is where I want to share some of that journey.
The good parts.
The frustrating parts.
The lessons.
And hopefully, over time, a few stories worth telling.
Pull Up a Chair
If you’ve played golf for 40 years or picked up a club for the first time last week, you’re welcome here.
Golf has room for all of us.
Caddie’s Corner is simply a place to talk about the game, the people around it, the traditions behind it, and the reasons we keep coming back.
Thanks for stopping by.
Respect the tradition. Enjoy the walk. Keep moving forward.
Walk the Row.
