Our Story

How It Started

Caddie Row Golf Co. didn’t start with a big investment, a corporate team, or a warehouse full of inventory.

It started on a shoestring budget, a love for the game of golf, and an idea that I believed was worth pursuing.

I’ve been playing golf for more than 40 years. During that time, I’ve experienced just about every version of the game. I’ve been a low-handicap golfer, a high-handicap golfer, and these days I’m somewhere comfortably in the middle.

More Than the Scorecard

But my score has never been the reason I love golf.

It’s the tradition.

It’s the history of the game. The early mornings. The walk down the fairway. The sound of a well-struck iron. The conversations between shots. The courses that have been played for generations and the stories that come with them.

There is something about golf that connects the past to the present in a way few sports can.

Why Caddie Row?

That connection is a big part of where the name Caddie Row came from.

For generations, caddies were an important part of the game. They weren’t simply carrying a golf bag. A great caddie understood the course, knew the conditions, read the player, offered advice when it was needed, and knew when to simply walk alongside.

Today, outside of professional golf and a relatively small number of traditional clubs, the caddie has almost become a forgotten part of the game.

I didn’t want that piece of golf history to be forgotten.

Caddie Row is my way of paying respect to where the game has been while creating something for where it is going.

Leaving a Mark on the Game

I started this company with limited resources, and truthfully, I’m still building it that way. There’s no giant corporation behind Caddie Row. Every product, every design, every change to the website, and every decision about the brand is part of building something from the ground up.

The goal isn’t to become just another logo on a polo.

I want Caddie Row Golf Co. to have its own place in the golf world — a brand that respects the traditions of the game while making apparel and gear golfers are proud to wear today.

Golf has given me more than four decades of memories, frustration, friendships, great shots, terrible shots, and reasons to keep coming back.

Now I’d like to leave a small mark of my own on the game that has meant so much to me.

That’s what Caddie Row is about.

Respect the tradition. Enjoy the walk. Keep moving forward.

Walk the Row.
